Yes we actually recommend that you view your material. It allows you to view the full slab of material. We carry some material at our shop. We also have several suppliers of granite. When you go and choose they will allow you to view each granite block. You can go and select or we can order it in for you. Custom Marble also offers to allow you to lay your paper templates on your slabs at our shop. Yes you can. You have a better chance of ruining your knife blade then your granite. Granite is harder than your knife blade and can dull it very quickly.Back to top

Yes you can. It will not be affected by heat from a cook top or frying pan. A lit flame place under the granite will have no melting effect and will not leave any burned or scarred marks. Back to top
How often do I need to re-apply stone sealer?
The frequency for re-sealing depends on the color of the stone installed and the amount of use. An easy “rule of thumb" is if you begin to notice water that does not bead up or soaks in the stone within 10-15 minutes, then it’s probably time to re-seal.
