marble, granite or zodiaq... the following information need
be provided.
- Material Selection & Supplier
- A Layout, Sketch or Plans with approximate measurements
- Edge Profile
- Backsplash (ie 4 inch , 6 inch, or Full Height)
- Stove information
- Sink & Faucet information (ie. Undermount or Drop
In, # of Holes to drill for faucet...standard width of hole
is 1 inch and 3/8)
- Delivery Address
- VISIT/ FAX/ PHONE OR EMAIL YOUR INFO TO OUR OFFICE!
Once a job/price is accepted and PO # may be issued and a
contract must be signed and mailed/faxed/emailed to our office.
A material and contract deposit is required to schedule a
date for template and installation.

Edge Profiles
Backsplash
Most often backsplash is cut from the same material as the
countertop. The thickness is usually 1 1/4 inch (3 cm). Whoever,
3/4 inch may be used as well. Our standard cut backsplash
is 4 inches. We can customize to any height between 4 and
18 inches. CMD does not do tile work. If you have chosen to
mach tile with your granite please check with your contractor
Sink & Faucets
 Undermount
Vs. Drop In
Drop in sinks can be the most affordable way to go. However,
the lip around the sink can collect dirt and crumbs while
cleaning. Undermount sinks are the suggested choice with granite
countertops. They are easier to clean and maintain.
CMD stocks a wide variety of quality Elkay stainless steel
Undermount sinks.

The type of sink you will need depends on the size of your
sink base cabinet. Please call or email one of our representatives
for more detail and price.
When choosing a faucet keep in mind we must drill for each
required hole. This can include air gaps, soap dispensers,
instant hot sprayers. All faucets must be on site the day
of template.
